My first post! Woohoo. Well here we go…
A few weeks ago we visited the ever amazing Dot to Dot London. A trade show with a difference. Showcasing the best of children’s fashion, accessories and homeware brands. I was delighted to be invited back this year, as a judge for the Dot to Dot awards. Bravely, me and both kiddos headed down to London, battled the trains, tubes, and arrived at Dot to Dot to an array of smiles. Happy we all made it in one piece (without a pram I must add) the kids jumped straight into meeting everyone and especially Jemima’s favourites Tiba + Marl (the bag ladies she calls them, sorry girls!) It’s always nice to attend and catch up with fellow Instagram Mamas and brands we’ve worked with over the year.
One of the highlights for me was meeting (finally in person) my longtime Instagram friend Fiona and hubby Bobby from Nor-folk. Some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and their stand was a definite reflection on their impeccable eye for style.
Back to the judging, and there were some amazing new brands this season. Me and fellow judges; Cat from Hustle and Fox (the judge with the coolest trousers), Peppe from Collezioni Magazine and Andy from Dad and Co, picked the overal winners for:
Best Fashion Brand: Winner – ABC123me
Best Non-fashion Brand: Winner – Forivor
Best Newcomer: Winner – Little Hotdog Watson
A big congratulations to all the winners and for everyone else for making if such a great show.
After The Awards Ceremony it was time to mingle and test out the props. Especially this super stylish bike from Tokyo Bikes, displayed by Nor-folk.
As you can see the bike went down well, but all the excitement exhausted this little one, so it was time for a quick family snap, a child’s pace walk to the tube, a train ride home and then bed. Until next time… Goodnight!
